Wrinkles & Lines Treatment London

In the Uk there is poor regulations on who can perform treatments for lines and wrinkles.
Practinioer nurses are allowed to prescribe and inject fillers and muscle relaxant (botuline toxin type A) just after a few days/weeks course.
A Doctor specialized in Plastic and Cosmetic Surgery has studied 6 years in the Medical school and 5 years training only in Plastic Surgery. He performs facelift and facial transplants as well as facial reconstruction or facial re-habilitation after injuries. He sees, cuts, model, tight and work on the skin and behind muscles of the face. He has not just deep knowledge of these structures by studying books, he in fact works every day on them knowing the anatomy and the dynamic changes which occur with the age.
Whilst there are excellent and skilled nurses and cosmetic doctors able to achieve good results, Plastic Surgeons are often asked to see and treat patients who are unhappy with their results from other practiniores or with complications who a nurse is not able to predict and avoid or fix.
Having fillers or wrinkle treatments in London by a qualified and skilled Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon may give you better result, guarantee of the highest standards and safety.
Your Plastic Surgeon can also give you advice on other alterantives such as fat transfer, face lift or eyelid surgery.
A face to face consultation is your next step. Dr Rochira will assess you and advice on the best options for you.
The most effective options to reduce the appearance of wrinkes and lines are injections like Botox (which me be recommended to you after a consultation with your Plastic Srugeon as it is a Prescription only Medicine) and Dermal Fillers based on Hyaluronic Acid.

Dermal Fillers London

Dermal Fillers are popular with those seeking a light, non-surgical option for ageing skin that has lost volume as the collagen and Hyaluronic acid that previously helped to shape and support it has disappeared.
The Hyaluronic acid, is originally present in the skin and other human tissues and thus contrast the natural aging symptoms such as wrinkles, aging lines, nasolabial folds, crow’s feet, frown lines and ‘sad mouth lines’. It is also used to enahance lip volume and achieve a better contour.
Dr Rochira uses a range of premium dermal fillers products that can help you achieve the desired result. It will depend on the area being treated as to which product he would recommend as the most suitable.

Botox London

Botox injections are now the most carried out non-surgical aesthetic treatment worldwide.  In the U.K. It is a PRESCRIPTION ONLY MEDICINE and therefore your suitability must be assessed and adviced by a Doctor expert in Platic and Cosmetic Medicine and Surgery. Botox is licensed to temporarily improve the appearance of:

  • vertical lines between the eyebrows (glabellar lines)

Botox is a medicine that contains muscle relaxants which are injected intra muscular, using a very fine needle and in a matter of days they will have the effect of reducing the muscle activity that causes lines and wrinkles. Results will always vary from person to person.

  • A non-invasive treatment with very little downtime, so you can return to day to day activities straight away
  • Reduction of lines and wrinkles to give a more youthful looking appearance
  • Restoring lost volume for a softer more younger look
  • Long lasting results
  • Performed by expert hand of a Plastic Surgeon, not just a practinioner

Do You Suffer For Excessive Sweating?

Excessive sweating can significantly affect a person’s life. It can be embarrassing and socially isolating, and many people find the condition quite upsetting.
Botox—often associated with cosmetic wrinkle reduction—is also a particularly effective treatment for focal hyperhidrosis. Botox injections use botulinum toxin to block the nerve signals responsible for sweating, stopping the sweat glands from producing too much sweat. Retreatment is typically needed in four to six months, as the nerves regenerate. Over time, however, patients can go longer between treatments.
The procedure is simple. Numbing cream is applied to the treatment area up to one hour before the injections. The physician will clean the affected area and make many injections with a very tiny needle. Bruising, swelling, or tenderness is possible after the procedure, but is generally minor. Patients typically start seeing results in five days, with full results after two weeks.
